Hartley's Karate was established June 1981 in Shawnee Kansas. We
specialize in teaching children and families. The program is based
on traditional American values and principles.
Common sense self defense is taught using traditional and non traditional techniques right from the very first class you take. As you progress through our belt ranks you are retested on all previous situational self defenses that you have learned. This repetition causes the techniques to become reflex and gives our students the best chance at defending themselves in real life when and if necessary.
Character is taught hand in glove with all our karate knowledge.
